Living With The Garland Theme

I've decided to run this blog totally off the Garland theme for Drupal.

On my other blogs, I've thought long and hard about design, played by the rule on AdSense placement and other popular blogging ideas.

I don't want any of that here, just to be able to write with no other distractions! And so I've decided that this site will have no frills, no gimmicks, and be 100% widget-free!

As I mentioned before, it's also my first foray into Drupal as a blogging platform/CMS. I'm beginning to understand it a bit better, and even like it considering
my love of WordPress.

A few other things I won't be doing here:

• Monetization/AdSense - I don't really want to bog this blog down in advertising (for a change).
• Blog rolls, over-optimization, checking stats, etc. This blog isn't so much for the world as it is for me to waffle on about things I'm doing or things I enjoy that catch my interest. I may drop it as a link in comments here and there, but this blog's going to exist off the radar for the most part!
